Well verifying your identity with NETELLER will not only ensure the security of your account but you will have access to higher limits and other deposit options. You will also be able to apply for the Net+ Prepaid Mastercard®*.
Once you have started using your account to make transactions, you will be given the option to provide an additional verification of your identity, by uploading a clear, legible, valid and unaltered scanned color copy or photo of one of the following documents:
The front and back of your driving license
The photo page of your passport
Front and back of your national ID card
Address verification document
Face match/selfie picture of your ID
You can start the process of uploading a copy of your photo identification documents by clicking on the blue banner, visible after you login to your NETELLER account.
Step 1: Fund your account and Create your personal security questions
To start the verification process, you should fund your NETELLER account and create your security questions.
Once the security questions created, you will have the possibility to enable the two-step authentication by clicking on Enable two-step authentication. If you do not wish to do so at the moment, you can simply click on No thank you in order to continue with the verification process.
Step 2: Verify you ID
By clicking on Upload, you will have the possibility to upload your ID to our secure system by using your webcam. If you don’t have a webcam on your computer, you can download the NETELLER application (NETELLER Apple App Store/NETELLER Google Play) and use your smartphone camera in order to easily complete this verification step.
In order to successfully complete the verification process, you will need to allow the pop-ups in your browser.
Now you will be prompted to enable your Webcam or download the NETELLER Mobile App to initiate a face match/selfie picture of your ID.
Choose the type of document you would like to provide, fill up the required information and then click on Verify.
Note: If your document has no expiry date, please check the space next to No expiry. You need to click on the Allow button in the upper left corner of the page in order to be able to continue.
By clicking on Verify you will be given the option to choose your document type and country of issuance.
Note: The issuing country will be preselected based on your country of registration. If your ID document is issued by another country, please selected it from the drop-down menu. Failure to change to the correct country may cause upload error.
At this point you will be required to use your webcam to capture a new copy of your document and a selfie, which we will use to verify your identity.
If you do not see the auto pop-up message to share your camera in your browser, you can find information on how to re-enable it here.
Then you will see a confirmation screen saying that your image quality is being verified.
After successfully using your webcam or the mobile app to submit an image of your ID and face/selfie, both the Verify your ID and the Verify account ownership steps will be IN REVIEW.
Once the documents are successfully processed you will receive an email and the Verify your ID and the Verify account ownership steps will show as COMPLETED.
Step 3: Verify your location
If you have previously shared your browser location, the Verify your location step may automatically be completed, if you are logging in from your registered NETELLER address.
If you have not yet shared your browser location, you will have to do so in order to fulfill the Verify your location requirement. Detailed information on how to enable location sharing on your browser you can obtain by clicking here.
Depending on your country of residence it might not be possible to verify your address via geolocation sharing even if you are at your registered NETELLER address. In this case, you will be asked to manually upload an address verification document.
Step 4: Verify your ownership
If you have previously uploaded a copy of your government issued ID and a selfie/facematch of yourself to verify your ID, the Verify your ownership step may automatically be completed.
If you have not yet completed this requirement, you will be prompted to do so by using your webcam. (Please see section Verify you ID)

Once the verification process is fully completed you will get a message in your NETELLER account stating that your account has been upgrade and you will receive an email confirmation to your registered email address.
